Hi, my name is Brodie. I'm a 15 year old sports and city photographer based in the great city of Pittsburgh. From waking up before the sun rises to capture that morning color, to venturing around the various neighborhoods to tell the story of our magnificent city. It all happens, one click at a time.
What I do
Sports Photography
My main focus is sports photography. Whether its Ice Hockey, Ball Hockey, BMX Racing, or everything in between, my goal is to capture the moment and tell a story of the game.
Cityscape Photography
This is my specialty. My favorite thing to photograph is the beautiful city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From early morning sunrises to late night firework shows, I am always hoping to bring you to that moment, to witness that sunrise in person, through my photos.
Street Photography
This is probably my least fulfilled genre, but one that means the most. Street photography and photojournalism are two of my favorite types of photography. Every photo must tell a story. If you are not familiar with street photography, it is the art of using everyday people to tell the mood of the moment. The big part of this genre is that every photo is natural, none are set-up or staged.
About Me!
My name is Brodie Bard. I am a freelance sports photographer and cityscape photographer based in Western PA, specifically Pittsburgh PA. I photograph youth Ice Hockey teams, youth Ball Hockey teams, and am the lead sports photographer for my school's yearbook. In my free time I love heading downtown to photograph the events taking place around the city, or enjoy the rising sun or snowy evenings. I am constantly expanding and looking for more ways to connect to this city, and more importantly, learn and grow as a person and photographer.
